A hearing will be held at Vernon County Ambulance District at 7:00 pm on August 19, 2021 at 515 East Walnut Street, Nevada Mo. at which citizens may be heard on the property tax rates proposed to be set by Vernon County Ambulance District. The tax rates shall be set to produce the revenue which the budget for the year 2021 shows to be required from the property tax. Each tax rate is determined by dividing the amount of revenue required by the current assessed valuation. The result is multiplied by one hundred so the tax rate will be expressed in cents per $100 valuation. (RSMo 67.110.2)
